In the social entrepreneurship club, students will gain knowledge on how to use entrepreneurship to create social change. Many commercial businesses would consider themselves to have social objectives, but social enterprises are distinctive because their social or environmental purpose remains central to their operation. Social entrepreneurship can be best learned by studying previous entrepreneurs’ experiences and we will offer excellent stories of people who have been down this road and today are successful social entrepreneurs. The ideal social entrepreneur is an individual that thinks creatively in order to develop a completely new approach to solving a social problem. Club members will also be offered information and guidance on how to form a business plan.
